About us
Uta Wa Leza, founded on the conviction that spiritual
renewal underpins societal progress, operates as a
faith-based catalyst for integrated development.
Grounded in Christian ethics, the organization partners
with churches, local leaders, and international donors
to address both material and existential needs. Its
operations span Phalombe District, targeting
vulnerable groups—smallholder farmers, women,
youth, and marginalized communities—through
programs that merge discipleship with practical skills
training. By fostering partnerships with entities like
Farming God’s Way and Scripture Union, Uta wa Leza
bridges theological insights with grassroots action,
positioning itself as a trusted agent of change in
Malawi’s development landscape.

Our Values
We evaluate all of our actions in relation to the following guiding principles, in order to consciously drive us toward our goal as an organization. Our core values are.
01.
— Christ-centered
We anchor every thought, choice, and deed in the teachings and examples of Jesus Christ. His life of humility, sacrifice, and redemption directs our purpose and guarantees that our effort shows His transformative love and grace.
02.
— Honesty
We believe in maintaining openness in our
relationships, resource management, and communication. This helps us to respect God and promote responsibility in our society.
03.
— Compassion:
We are called to recognize the natural
dignity in every person, react to pain with compassion, and act decisively to raise the underprivileged, we are to match our hearts with Christ’s love for the shattered and weak
04.
— Stewardship
We recognize that God entrusts all resources—spiritual, human, financial, and environmental—to us for the flourishing of His creation, we manage them all with knowledge and care.
05.
— Love
Motivated by God’s unconditional love, we want to foster relationships based on compassion, patience, and forgiveness, therefore breaking cycles of division and despair and building bridges of hope and togetherness.
06.
— Servant leadership
Following Christ’s example of
humility and selflessness, we advocate servant leadership. By giving their needs first priority, developing their potential, and journeying with them towards group change, we enable others.
